Visitors to Kevin’s YouTube channel find a new video log from him, where there’s a chair set up in his Twitch studio as it begins. It’s not too long after that when he walks into the shot and takes a seat.
“Here we go again.” He said with a half smirk on his face as he got comfortable. “Time once again for yours truly to address a few topics that have come up recently, so you can find out exactly what’s happening straight from the source. So where do we begin?” He taps his chin as if he’s still considering it before he decides.
“Let’s start with the Aces. Those of you who watched Revolution saw that there were some ….intense emotions being shown by the Silver State Champion Serenity towards me. You might be curious why. That’s because we have a new Diamond in the Aces, that being Summer. First, let me address why Summer is part of the group and then I’ll get to Serenity’s issues with it. Summer is a former Uprising World Champion. She knows what it takes to win and succeed, and she’s proven since the day I met her that I can rely on her when needed. I trust her, which is key. And to be part of the Aces, that is paramount. So when she floated the idea past me during a text message exchange, I got to thinking about it. Then I presented it to Talia and Serenity, because this isn’t a monarchy. I don’t make the decisions that affect everyone on my own.”
Then he let out a sigh and shook his head. “The problem for Serenity is she doesn’t trust her because Summer is my former girlfriend. For those that don’t know her, Serenity is a very protective girl when it comes to me. After all, I am her boyfriend. I get that, but I honestly don’t think there’s anything to worry about with Summer or she wouldn’t be part of the Aces. A few of you watched that show and thought I got dumped. That is not the case. She hasn’t shown any desire to do that, and I certainly haven’t. I’m afraid she’s stuck with me, much to the chagrin of a lot of thirsty guys I see on Twitter.” That brings a grin to his face.
“We’ll get it all worked out soon, no worries. As for the tag match main event? Well I kinda figured someone would get involved in it. I just presumed it’d be one of the Kingdom. I didn’t expect to see who I saw, but I should have. It’s kind of inevitable at some point, and I’ll get more into that later, if needs must. I’m only focusing on what’s coming up, not what might be. And that’s an Uprising World Championship match that I have with Samantha Tolson. And I’ll get back to her later too. When I see the match made official with us one on one, I’ll talk more about her. If you’re expecting me to shit on her, you’ll be surprised. Anyway…” He snapped his fingers as something seemed to come to mind. “Also want to shout out Talia for proving everything I said about her before our tag match, not to mention since the day she joined the Aces.”
He looks off camera at something for a moment before returning his attention to it and continuing. “Let’s talk about XWF next. In my last video, I told you that my contract was up with them, which took place before I found out Thad was now in charge. It had nothing to do with him as to why I let it lapse. Credit to him, he’s already making it a better show that isn’t booked in fucking nowhere around the globe where the show wasn’t ever going to make money. I’m proud of him for that actually. And I commend him for doing it, I think Madness is in good hands. And I was about ready to call up Kat, my agent, and say I was ready to put pen to paper. Then..”
He takes a moment to rub his face before he begins to smile again. “Then Thad went on Madness and got the crowd booing me because I treat this business for what it is: a business. Let me level with all of you, if you didn’t know. I do this for the money, and because I am fucking phenomenal at it. Because of that, I know my value and what I bring to the table. I will never be some 20 year veteran needing one last run. This is a business for me. It’s not a passion. It never has been. So if I’m going to get booed because I have perspective, so be it. As long as people pay the money to see me. He’s also seemingly got Sean Parker interested in facing me. I’m familiar with Sean. Got no issue with the guy, never crossed paths before. But it looks like that’s the path I’m going to be put on if I sign that new deal. I’m not one who likes to negotiate in public…for reasons like this, because I invariably get painted as the villain because I know my value and I know what I want out of a promoter. But Thad has decided to bring this to a public forum. Alright. IF we’re gonna talk about business in public, I’ll be at the next episode of Madness and give you my decision there. Thad even got Serenity to show up for the last show. That was a surprise to many, but it wasn’t to me. I mean she obviously told me about it. As for whether you see her again there, that’s for her to decide. But I’ll certainly be at the next Madness, it’s not that far from me. And you’ll get the answer on whether I plan to renew my contract or not then.”
He pauses briefly, once again glancing off camera at something before he speaks again. “Maybe I’ll bring someone with me. We’ll see. I’ll definitely be at Madness like I said. I’ll also be backstage at Unleashed. None of the Aces are booked, but I gotta support Priscilla since I train her. Besides that, Los Tigres has caught my attention and I want to see how they do. I’ll be back here after Madness and will get into details about whatever may transpire there as well as anything in Uprising going on that gets my eye. And who knows what else? Until then, you can check me out on my Twitch channel, it’s just my name, easy to find. In the meantime…the Ace is out.”
He reaches forward before the video goes to black.
