OPENING CONTEST
JACKI O'LANTERN vs TYPHON-13
Jacki wasted no time in the opening moments, taking the fight to Veronica Frankenstein's monster. Typhon-13 finally caught a break when he ducked under a telegraphed strike and headed out to the floor. Rather than follow, Jacki used the time to regroup and connect with the fans while the monster received a pep talk on the floor. When he returned, he immediately nailed Jacki with a hard elbow to the ribs and then an eye rake – he hoisted her with a military press and then flung her across the ring. Jacki staggered back up, undaunted and they brawled to the crowd's delight before Jacki managed to sweep the monster off his feet. She nailed a knee to the midsection and then a headstand double knee drop! The crowd loved it, cheering on one of their faves. When she tried for a cover, T-13 bailed out of the ring again. She followed, nailing him with a swift kick to the back of his knees. When he crumbled, she grabbed him by the back of his tiny head, spun him around and propelled him back through the ropes to a huge pop from the crowd!
Back inside, Jacki nailed the Bon Voyage (Killswitch) and then locked Typhon-13 into The Darkest Hour (Chicken Wing Facelock). The monster tried to resist but eventually had to tap out. Nice decisive win for the fan fave to pick up momentum heading to Japan in 2 weeks for Equinox II!
WINNER (VIA SUBMISSION): JACKI O'LANTERN

RENO NEVADA vs ACE SKY
When the opening horns of House of Pain's Jump Around hit the PA system, the building tore itself apart. The beat dropped and everyone in attendence began jumping up and down as THE OUTLAW Reno Nevada made his way down to the ring where his opponent, Ace Sky waited. The match began quickly as Sky immediately was all over Reno the moment he stepped inside the squared circle. His speed and aerial abilities took over the match, working Reno through running knee strikes, dropkicks, and ranas, until finally landing a smooth sunset flip into a pin. Reno beat the three count with only a few miliseconds to spare. Throughout the match, Ace focused on Reno's back, and it became concerning after a few minutes of punishment that maybe he wasn't ready to return to active competition. He struggled to stand at one point while leaning against the ropes. Ace didn't hesitate to take advantage, using a series of strikes to set up the END OF LIFE (Vertebreaker)! Reno crashed into the canvas befroe flipping over onto his stomach. He favored his back even as Ace rolled him over for another pin.
But Reno refused to go out, throwing a defiant shoulder up. Ace attacked with a series of hard stomps until Reno was flatted out and staring at the ceiling. The Galaxy Guru ran for the nearest corner and quickly ascended. He took a moment to raise his hands before leaping forward and flipping backward... GALAXY LEAP (Shooting Star Press)—
RENO ROLLED AWAY! Ace CRASHED into the mat as the Outlaw stood with a surprisngly amount of energy for someone crippled with an aching back. He pointed at his lumbar area and then wagged a finger! He was playing possum! He dropped down into a ready position and waited for Ace to slowly get to his feet. The fans were going insane as the Galaxy Guru was on the receiving end of a hard boot to the gut that doubled him over. It was lights out after that, as Reno dropped him with WELCOME TO RENO, MOTHER FUCKER (Snap DDT) and secured the pin! Afterward he celebrated in the crowd, downing a few offered beers before disappearing in the upper level.
WINNER (VIA PINFALL): RENO NEVADA
When the match began, it was Max who took control after Carina’s attempts to embarrass him didn’t quite pan out for her. Trying to belittle him didn’t work at all, only backfiring as he opened up with fast strikes. Chops with his strong arm and kicks helped bring Vega down to the mat and allowed him to use his high speed offensive strikes in the opening moments. A plancha netted him a two count. But when he went for his flying elbow drop, Vega avoided the contact entirely. After taking a second or two to recover, she showed more viciousness as a result.
Most of her offense was targeted at Max’s head when he tried to get up again. A volley of knee strikes to his head, including a busaiku knee, rattled the veteran. A hair pull facebreaker and a piledriver only made matters worse for the Handicap Hero. He started to wage a comeback, but that was shortly deactivated when Carina clocked him with a spinning roundhouse kick into her Storm One DDT for the pin and the win.
WINNER (VIA PINFALL): CARINA VEGA
Aria wanted to start the match with a handshake to show her respect towards Serenity, which the teenager gave her. The problem was that she didn’t let go of her hand afterwards and pulled Aria into a series of vicious forearm smashes to the side of her head. Holmes kept hold of that too as she used elbows to drive Aria to her knees and then bounced off the near side ropes with a running boot to the side of her head. Serenity went for the cover, but only got a two count. The teenager had firm control of the match till she went for her reverse frankensteiner, due to Aria hooking her arms around the ropes and letting Serenity land on the mat instead. Aria tried to get the win there, but Serenity was out at two.
Aria took over from there, showing off some fast striking abilities. The temp of the match picked up considerably as Aria was practically a blur of offense. A plethora of kicks landed and were followed up with a flying forearm that saw her go for the cover again. But Holmes was out at two and a half. She used her headlock driver to put her down again before heading for the top rope, leaving her feet with a shooting star press followed by another cover. But Serenity kicked out. Aria was looking to end it with her running knee strike finisher, but Holmes rolled out of the way. When she turned around after getting her balance, Aria was met with a running elbow to the mouth that sent her into the corner. Holmes sat her on the top turnbuckle for a German suplex that saw her crash to the canvas. And before she could get up, the teenager delivered her double foot stomp to her head and went for the pin and got the win.
WINNER (VIA PINFALL): SERENITY HOLMES
JACE PARKER DAVIDSON vs CRYSTAL CALDWELL
This match, which was originally supposed to be a tag team match, saw the woman who will compete for the Silver State Championship belt at Equinox II, Crystal Caldwell. Go one on one with the undefeated Jace Parker Davidson who was making his Unleashed debut. Caldwell tried to use her speed and high-flying ability against the much bigger and stronger opponent in Davidson. Caldwell managed to keep Davidson off balance by being able to connect with a springboard arm drag followed by a tilt-to-whirl arm drag. Davidson was back up quickly as Crystal tried to plant a boot into the midsection but Davidson catch up. Caldwell leveled him with an enzuigiri kick to the back of the head.
Caldwell stayed in constant motion as Davidson staggered back up only to connect with a tilt-to-whirl DDT that spikes him down to the canvas. Crystal quickly made the cover but only got a two count before Davidson kicked out. Crystal got to her feet and decided to head to the high-rent district while Davidson was dazed. Crystal leaped off the top going for a hurricanrana but Davidson was too big and too strong to flip over. Davidson muscled Caldwell back up before hitting her with a powerbomb. Caldwell folded like an accordion which gave Davidson time to recover and go on the offensive. Davidson hit Caldwell with various suplexes that slung her around the ring. With Caldwell dazed and only able to get up to her knees, Davidson leveled her with a vicious V-Trigger knee shot to the face. Davidson made the cover but Diamond Caldwell hopped up onto the ring apron to distract the referee from making the count.
Davidson not to be denied, hit Diamond with a V-Trigger knee that sent her flying off the ring apron and into the barricade. Crystal took advantage of the distraction with the Flashing Lights kick to the face that floored Davidson. Caldwell gathered up Davidson off the mat and went for Forget-Me-Not but Davidson countered by running her spine first into the turnbuckle. Davidson followed up with a springboard cutter that laid out Caldwell. Davidson pulled off his elbow pad and crouched in the corner measuring Crystal up as she struggled to get up off the canvas. Davidson signaled for Off With Their Head. As Davidson charged in for the vicious elbow strike, Caldwell in an act of desperation did the only thing she could go. She turned and hit Davidson with a low blow right in front of the referee. Davidson fell to the canvas holding his groin as the referee called for the bell.
WINNER (VIA DISQUALIFICATION): JACE PARKER DAVIDSON

WALKER HILL vs AMY SANTINO
The bell rang and the tie up came quickly, the Texan using his weight advantage to push the veteran back against the ropes. Ref Delano forced the break and Amy Santino lashed out with a slap to the face for the bum rush. The two started trading blows, equally matches before Walker nailed a series of stiff elbow strikes to stagger Amy – he's clearly set on winning this match and punching his ticket for the Silver State Championship. He snatched her for a bridging German suplex but didn't even get a count. Amy battled back up, nailed a hard kick to the guts and took Walker down with that dangerous spinning back kick! He looked out of it but when she dropped down to cover, he upkicked in her face! Reset and Amy scrambled to her feet, turning around to Walker charging for a clothesline that she ducked on instinct, running the ropes and bringing Walker down with a hard lariat of her own! Walker staggered up by Amy snatched him to drop Hill with a DDT before rolling him over. Cover and kick out after one!
Walker sat up and Amy was all over him again, lighting him up with kicks before a bridging Fujiwara armbar put him down again! No dice on submission as he got a rope break immediately. Walker ran for the ropes to make an attack, but Amy knocked him down hard with a dropkick to the knee. Walker got straight back up again but Amy knocked him down again with another dropkick. Walker was a bit more staggered this time, allowing Amy to snatch him in for a belly to back backbreaker! Walker's back arched in pain and Amy looks for that patented Punk Lock – DENIED! Walker nailed an elbow to the face that might have broken her nose and escapes to regroup, but only for a second. Walker grabbed and pulled her up, looking to turn the tide – reversal into a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker! HOLY SHIT! This match kept going and neither wanted to give an inch.
Amy came at him hard, telegraphing a springboard strike that Walker ducked under, catching her and using her own momentum to turn that into a dragonscrew leg whip! He transitioned into an ankle clutch prawn hold, leaving Amy screaming out in pain. Ref Stef immediately dropped down check for any sign of a submission as Amy attempted to edge herself to the bottom rope on her elbows, managing to grab hold after what seemed like a millennium. Walker immediately released the hold and backed away, chivalrously allowing Amy space to get up. The moment she's upright, though, Walker charged in and Amy pulled the top rope down, dumping him to the floor. Stef began to count as Walker stirred on the floor, pulling himself up onto the apron as Amy charged for an attack, only to be stopped by an elbow. Walker leapt up onto the top rope, dropping Amy face first with a springboard DDT! He rolled Amy over and hooked the leg, but Amy stayed in the match, kicking out after two! A "fight forever" chant broke out in the crowd, getting both hyped as they started back to their feet.
Amy attempted to get up but got stopped midway there by a huge forearm to the face from Walker, sending her sprawling again. He snatched her around the body, looking like he wanted to get that finishing move going but Amy lashed out with wild elbows and shin kicks, breaking free. She shoved Walker off to the corner – he halted his own momentum and turned around, fights up to fight but he gets levelled by the Bad Girl (Double Knee Facebreaker)! Rather than make the cover, Amy grabbed a handful of Walker's hair and dragged him back up. He'd almost dead on his feet but he tried valiantly to fight back as she chopped him back into the corner. His chest was red, covered in welts from those vicious chops. Amy yelled something that was lost in the roar of the crowd and then unleashed her spinning back kick – it's a KNOCKOUT. Walker hit the canvas like a sack of potatoes and Amy dove in for the cover, hooking both legs. The crowd held their breath. Walker's shoulder twitched up out of sheer instinct but it was a split second too late! What a match!
WINNER (VIA PINFALL): AMY SANTINO
Amy Santino surged to her knees, triumphant but she stopped to check on Walker, making sure that he wasn't injured. He was just coming to and when he heard her music over the soundsystem, he knew what happened. Even though he looked disappointed, he nodded at Amy with a smile, giving her the respect she'd earned as her hand was raised in victory. What a class act. What a hell of a way to set the stage for Japan in two weeks! See you at EQUINOX II!
