RING NAME: Reyna Carter

WHAT BRINGS YOU TO UPRISING?
She seeks new challenges, new avenues and with the recommendation from her mentor, she followed her stablemates to the promotion to dominate and win championships.
PERSONALITY OVERVIEW: Reyna is a confident individual, one you could say is an alpha rather than a beta. She doesn’t hesitate to put anybody in their place whether it’s verbally, physically or both. She can come off arrogant but with her history, she usually backs that up. She is only loyal to those she is close to, and in this case, it’s her Horsewomen teammates.
STRENGTHS:
Resiliency: This was developed when she became a fan favourite as she overcame so many odds when she won her first World Title in 2016. The girl just flat out does not know how to quit.
Superior skills: This was evident not even two months into her career, she held her own against hall of fame skilled talent. With more experience today, her skills have gotten even better as the competition has heated up.
High Pain Tolerance: This was especially developed during her first World Title reign as she had been placed in all kinds of seemingly difficult matches, to in which she often outlasted every competitor in the matches she was put in.
WEAKNESSES:
Cockiness: This has always been a theme in her career. From being a villainous character and even her fan favourite persona, Reyna has had the tendency of showboating and it has cost her some matches throughout her career.
Size: As is common with anybody her size, she'll be at a disadvantage when it comes to facing somebody bigger than her.
Can get flustered: While she does have great in-ring skills, if she faces somebody that's vastly superior in a style that she's not accustomed to, she can and will get frustrated trying to combat it.
WHY THEY'D BE CHEERED: Her skills in the ring, her never quit style and her desire to always put on a show and send the fans home with memories to last a lifetime.
WHY THEY'D BE BOOED: She still has remnants of her old Mean Girls attitude and can come off as if she’s better than everybody else due to fame, fortune and talent.
REASONS TO COMPETE:
- GLORY: Your character is all about winning and cannot stand to lose. It sends them into a rage. They have to be the very best and they'll stop at nothing – for better or worse – to achieve that.
- PASSION: All your character has ever wanted to do is wrestle. It's in their blood; their DNA. They eat, breathe and live this sport and for them it's a way of life.
ATTITUDE TOWARDS TEAMWORK:
- INNER CIRCLE: Your character will team with a select few ONLY. Outside of that small circle, they'd be considered anti-social, but within their group, they're fiercely loyal.
TENDENCY TO CHEAT:
- Rarely
THEME SONG: ”Publicity Stunt” by Gucci Mane
ENTRANCE: “Publicity Stunt” by Gucci Mane hits and the crowd boos loudly. A spotlight drops and Morgan Simmons appears before pointing to the back as Reyna Carter walks out from the back, oozing with confidence. The two of them stand beside each other and throw up four fingers before walking down the aisle. The two of them walk around ringside where Reyna is ignoring the fans while Morgan shouts at them. The two of them step on the apron and enter through the middle rope. Rey appears on the top rope, posing as the crowd boos loudly while Morgan shouts that she is a star attraction. Reyna hops down from the top and gives her manager her jacket before beginning final preparations for the match.
VALET/MANAGER: Morgan Simmons
VALET/MANAGER FACE CLAIM: Cristina Scabbia
VALET/MANAGER PURPOSE: Dispense tactical advice, and to provide Reyna a sense of backup.
WRESTLING EXPERIENCE: Nine years
WRESTLING STYLE:
- THE ALL-ROUNDER: Combines a variety of styles from different disciplines to disable and defeat their opponent.
MATCH TENDENCIES: Depending on the caliber of opponent. If it’s somebody she feels is inferior to her, she’ll toy with them and prolong the inevitable win. If it’s somebody who will give her the challenge she craves, she’ll take it more seriously.
BACKSTAGE TENDENCIES: Friendly to those who are the same to her, but if the person is annoying her, she tunes them out and can walk away during the conversation.
FIGHT-ENDING STYLE:
- CEREBRAL: Overcomes the opposition through intelligence, ingenuity and superior ring psychology.
IN-RING STRENGTHS:
- Instincts: From years of competing against top athletes in the ring, she gained a better understanding of what to do in the ring and uses it to her advantage
- Technical prowess: She is a Canadian and it’s mostly automatic that Canadians are technically sound in-between the ropes.
- Submission game: This has been a recent thing but since getting kicked out of her group the first time and having faced her fiercest rival on many occasions, she learned and gained a better understanding of submissions and how to make people submit.
IN-RING WEAKNESSES:
- Power: She’s not the strongest woman in the world so power like moves the bigger wrestlers use doesn’t fly with her
— Aerial attacks: She’s not the biggest fan of wrestling those with a more high flying/Lucha Libre style with her more notable losses being against competitors of that style.

- NO: I definitely want to write and submit my own segments and realize that the failure to do so will result in a lack of involvement in the ongoing plotlines and/or receiving push towards championships.
