WHAT BRINGS YOU TO UPRISING?
Former bare knuckle prize fighter turned mixed martial artist turned ESPN talking head (before getting fired) turned Cameo best seller turned professional wrestler turned actor. What's not to love?
PERSONALITY OVERVIEW: Reno is your standard issue Bostonian who likes to drink and fight. He loves rotaries but hates clam chowder. He only drinks Sam Adams if he needs to vomit after eating too many shrooms.
STRENGTHS: Cocky. Iron fists. High tolerance for substances.
WEAKNESSES: Sloppy both inside and outside the ring. Possible (likely) alcoholic. Bad luck magnet.
ALIGNMENT: Chaotic Good
WHY THEY'D BE CHEERED: Simply stating his name elicits a cheap pop from the Silver State Ballroom. He's also just a regular guy. Not in great shape. Drinks beer and swears. You know, relatable to your average Nevadan.
WHY THEY'D BE BOOED: Shows up drunk? Nah, that hasn't happened in at least a couple years.
REASONS TO COMPETE:
- BLOODLUST/VIOLENCE: Your character gets a thrill from the violence. For them, winning and losing is secondary to being able to spill the blood of another human being.
- BROKE: Your character lost all his savings. Maybe it was a pyramid scheme. Maybe it was too many hookers and drugs. Maybe buying twenty cars and a castle ala Nic Cage wasn't the right move for anyone but Nic Cage. Either way, retirement is over. Time to get back to work.
ATTITUDE TOWARDS TEAMWORK:
- RELUCTANT SOLDIER: Your character would always prefer to fight alone but will reluctantly join forces with someone if it's for a good cause or a common goal.
TENDENCY TO CHEAT:
- Often
THEME SONG: 'Jump Around' – House of Pain

VALET/MANAGER PURPOSE: //
WRESTLING EXPERIENCE: He's only been training to be a professional wrestler for two years. Before that he had a long career in mixed martial arts, armature wrestling, and prize fighting.
WRESTLING STYLE:
- THE PURIST: Relies on hard-hitting, old-school brawling. Takes the throwback traditional wrestling style and makes it relevant once again.
- THE STRONG STYLIST: Relies on hard-hitting (often stiff) moves and sharp strikes. Whether it's punches, chops, kicks, throws or submission holds, this fighter wants to hit hard, hit fast and hurt their foes.
- THE EXTREMIST: Relies on weaponry and their surroundings to abuse their opponents. Their primary objective, aside from victory, is to maim, bludgeon and incapacitate. Nothing is off-limits for this fighter.
MATCH TENDENCIES: Swing for the fences. Stiff wrestling. Trash talk. So basically Stone Cold Steve Austin.
BACKSTAGE TENDENCIES: Reno's life is perpetually driven by movie tropes to the point that he sometimes thinks he's in a movie. But that's crazy, right? Right?!
FIGHT-ENDING STYLE:
- OUT-WRESTLING: Beats the opponent using their preferred wrestling style.
- ROPE-A-DOPE: Can take a beating and keep on ticking, often after the opponent has tired themselves out.
- SUPERIOR STAMINA: Uses their superb conditioning to wait for the opponent to tire, before ending the fight on their terms.
- ULTRA-VIOLENCE: Focused around brutality, using weapons and their surroundings, leaving their opponent no choice but to concede defeat.
IN-RING STRENGTHS:
- Strength: Striking.
- Strength: Wrestling.
- Strength: Middle fingers.
IN-RING WEAKNESSES:
- Weakness: Disregard for his own health.
- Weakness: Irish temper.
- Weakness: Physically his body has been through the ringer.
FINISHERS
1. ONCE UPON A TIME IN HOLLYWOOD (Snapmare Driver)
Kick to the gut followed by a 3/4 facelock. The opponent is pulled forward and down in a snapmare motion, before getting driven forehead first into the canvas.
2. FLYING KNEE (Running Knee Strike)
A devastating knee strike to the head/face that can be executed against stationary targets or hit out of nowhere on an unsuspecting foe while running, striking or going for a takedown.
RETIRED: WELCOME TO RENO, MOTHER FUCKER (Snap DDT.)
Kick to the gut followed by a perfect DDT (ala Raven). Sometimes preceded by a middle finger or some other taunt.
SIGNATURE MOVES
1. The Ol’ Right There Fred – Haymaker Punch on a running opponent. It can be executed in any situation where the opponent is coming toward Reno fast, such as off the ropes or from an elevated position. Often this is set up by Irish whipping the target into the ropes and then meeting them in the middle of the ring but it can be landed out of nowhere on an unsuspecting moving target. Can be used as a finisher against lesser opponents.
2. Boston Massacre – Swinging Neckbreaker
3. Running Shoulder Breaker
4. Rear Naked Choke
5. Knife edge chops in the corner.
COMMON MOVES
Short-arm clothesline
Gutbuster
Swinging knee lift
Leapfrog body guillotine

BACKSTAGE APPEARANCES:
- NO: I definitely want to write and submit my own segments and realize that the failure to do so will result in a lack of involvement in the ongoing plotlines and/or receiving push towards championships.
