It was any normal day for “The Master” SAW, in the gym training, whether it was stamina, weights or whatever, he always took it seriously. SAW from a young age was made to believe that if you want to be the best, you have to train to be the best. Just because his parents had given him the middle name Adonis, didn’t mean they weren’t going to make him earn it. They had big plans for him, both being superior athletes themselves in the martial arts world. Both his mom and dad had plans for him to be a martial arts genius and he’d succeed already in that plan, and mastered it.
He was a master in a lot of martial arts, but that didn’t stop him understanding that even if you master something, there are still things you can learn to keep you mastered at it. SAW was willing to listen, adapt and improve anyway he felt he needed to. When SAW was approached to join Uprising, he’d just won yet another competition for his outstanding martial arts. He didn’t realize that there would be a wrestling scout at a martial arts tournament but clearly there was. The Uprising representative had said that he’d liked what he’d seen and that SAW would make an amazing addition to the roster.
It did take a couple of days to decide, and much to his martial arts trainers' objections, SAW had decided to sign up and become part of the Uprising Roster. SAW’s trainers were his mom and dad, which wasn’t necessarily a good or bad thing training wise. They just wanted the best for him, just like he wanted to prove he could succeed without them and prove it to them anyway he could. That is why he decided to accept, to showcase that even though his parents disapproved, this was the next chapter in his book. After all, SAW had trained in wrestling too and was a very accomplished and technical wrestler too.
It wasn’t until recently that he’d heard from his parents, and yet again it was because they didn’t approve of something he’d done. They went on at him about honor over and over again, telling him how his recent actions were not who he should be. That he should honor and respect everyone, and even if they disrespect his honor to rise above it. That phone call just ended with SAW laughing and just putting the phone down. Every phone call since, he’d rejected and sent straight through to voicemail. He had messages upon messages from them and just didn’t pay them any mind.
SAW has had enough of being how his parents want him to be, and just wants to be his own man and make his own mistakes. All his life, he’d lived it to please them and make them happy, and yes he had success, but now he wanted to have success doing something new and alone. He was grateful for what his parents did for him, but that doesn’t mean he isn’t going to go out and do what he wants to do.
Speaking of which, SAW looks down at the text he was sent when the card went up, going over who he had to face. More so to check who H.O.T tag partner was since he’d forgotten since he’d be quiet, probably due to fear of having to face “The Master” SAW who was “The Gatekeeper” for Uprising.

HANDICAP RETRIBUTION
H.O.T. & TYSON DEUCE vs SAW
SAW: Guess I deserved having to face H.O.T Deuce. Had to look at the text since Tyson has been pretty quiet. I’d almost forgotten that it was a handicap match, especially since the only one who was running their mouth was Hayden.
Letting out a sigh, SAW tossed his phone into his bag, before getting back to throwing left and right combos at the punching bag, mixing it up with a kick here and there. He was dressed in just a pair of MMA style shorts as he doesn’t stop throwing combos as he continues to speak.
SAW: Tyson… Have you run off with your tail between your legs? It feels like a match up between just Hayden and I. I was actually looking forward to the challenge of having to deal with you both, but it looks like you won’t be much of a factor, guess I’ll just kick your head off your shoulders and concentrate on H.O.T.
You’ve had a lot to say Hayden, and you talk a big game, I just hope you follow through with that talk, just without winning, because I’m not about to let some SoundCloud rapper and his mascot beat me. I’m ready for the excuses of you losing because your mascot was more of a hindrance than a help, and to be honest I’ll allow you to an extent to use that excuse.
With the last word and after a left and right punch, SAW hits the punching bag with a devastating roundhouse kick. If that kick had connected with the ribs they’d have crumbled like dust. SAW sits down on the floor beside his bag and picks up his bottle of water, unscrews the cap and takes a couple of swigs. Once done, Saw screws the cap back on and places the bottle down and gets back to his feet, once again throwing combos at the punch bag.
SAW: As you can tell, I take my training very seriously. I train 6 days a week and at least twice a day. Depending on how my body feels and how I feel mentally will depend on how long my training sessions will be. It doesn’t matter who I face, what match I face them in or how many I face, I will always train to win. I love to fight and will fight anyone, anywhere!
Do you feel like a target Hayden? Do you feel like I singled you out?
Well… I did. You became my target that I singled out because as “The Gatekeeper” of Uprising, I have to make sure you’re worthy, and you may talk a good game as I’ve mentioned, but we’re yet to see if you can back that up. Prove to me you’re worthy, and I may just accept it, but as for Tyson, he has a lot more than you to prove, at least you can talk to the talk. I’m beginning to think that maybe Tyson is a mime, so when I kick your asses, I may just flip him the bird so he understands.
I will see both of you at Revolution and at CORONATION, in that cage it will be your eternal DAMNATION!
With that, SAW gets back up to his feet and grabs his water bottle, he throws it up into the air and the last thing we see is him jump and hit a tornado roundhouse kick bursting the bottle and spraying water everywhere.
