(Hey there, it's a really short and sweet one from Mac and I just to kinda set up for things going forward. A little sneak peek at what we have planned going forward hopefully... Enjoy <3)

"So, what do you think?"
Expectantly, and with a sly grin she wasn't sure was quite captured in the flickering fluoresence- Amber limped her way past Mac as he scanned the immediate area.
In truth, the place wasn't much to look at in this state- everything maintained a fine layer of dust that only came with falling sedentary for years, most of the machinery and tools within sight looked to be a decade old and almost as many years obsolete.
Old didn't mean bad though when it came to automotive, and both Amber and Mac alike preferred the aged and proven to the new-fangled fantastic that relied a little too heavily on an internet connection and electrical outlets not chewed half to death by mice. Usually Amber could read Mac like a book, never one to really mask his feelings and even when he did- it wouldn't be for long, however today… The man had brought his best poker face and a tiny corner of Amber's constantly racing mind couldn't help but presume the worst.
Maybe it was too small, everything too decrepit. They'd be able to fit maybe 4 or 5 cars at a time... Hell, even few bikes and whatever might get thrown their way- but perhaps that would be too many or not enough…
No one ever mentioned the devil being so heavily into the details when it came to starting a business… Amber's heavy limp drew Mac's gave again momentarily with the flicker of knowing disapproval that she'd deliberately forgone the boot and crutches- despite not being cleared to be done with either quite yet.
"I know it's rough, the guy who used to run this place was hoping to eventually reopen… Turns out the world going to shit is a damn good reason though to consider retirement, can't say I blame the guy.
If we want the place, all he asks for is his pick in tools and we get everything else- I figure that wouldn't be a problem considering we have enough between us to-"
"Red?"
Amber paused. She knew she was rambling incessantly, her nerves starting to show through the usual icy facade. Fuck, everything seemed to trigger her nerves these days- she'd grown antsy, a hair trigger on a land mine.
"I love it, it's fucking perfect!", He said in his soft baritone voice. I big smile blossomed on his face as he continued to look at the place. "It will need some work, but I really like it"
Amber did her best to hide the wave of relief as it washed over her, the sound of his voice soothing the frayed edges of her nerves. Moving in along side Mac, she rested a soft hand on his shoulder.
"Well, it's a damn good thing you do."
Mac looked at her inquisitively, as she tried to contain the smile creeping across her features.
"Cause I already bought it… Merry Christmas darling"
